Vets have banned circulation of 7 tons of low quality animal products
Ukraine provides measures to ensure a stable epizootic situation and food security. During last week the State Veterinary Service in cooperation with Veterinary officers checked 360 enterprises involved in the animal production turnover. As a result, five of them were suspended. 7 tons of animal products were restricted.
In the regions of Ukraine mobile teams of veterinary officers and the State Veterinary Service stuff are working. Over the last week they checked 360 sites that produce animal origin production.
To provide control of animal products movement by the roads of Ukraine veterinary police together with the traffic police have checked 86 vehicles on the roads during production transportation. In general, it was registered 178 violations and the state budget received 19.6 thousand UAH of fines. Production at 5 enterprises was suspended.
Besides, the circulation of 7 tons of animal products was restricted due to their quality nonconformance by the documents.
Earlier, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine said the quality of food products, including meat is under his personal control.
