Ukrainian Butter is ready for profitable export
Stocks of butter should be quite high in Ukraine, but the prices do not fall any more.
Only rather active export may be the reason. At the same time the attitude of leaders of the market is quite logical. Gap is too big between prices of bulk and packed butter. So, it is not reasonably to sell bulk butter at UAH 40/kg if it is possible to sell packed products at UAH 60/kg.
Ukrainian producers look for possibilities of external sales more actively, because of weakened UAH. Price at USD 3000/t already suits many of them. Kazakhs still can pay USD 3200/t. At the same time there are contracts at USD 2800/t. Even such low price (in case of complete repayment of VAT) is more favorable than sales on domestic market.
If there is no possibility to export large volumes of butter, the prices will remain stable on domestic market in October.
