Ukraine: livestock number has decreased by 3% in February

 

As of March 1, 2016 the livestock number in Ukraine is about 3 994, 8 thsd heads, ignoring temporarily occupied territory of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol city and anti-terrorist operation zone. This mark has decreased by 3%, in comparison with the corresponding month of 2015. State Statistics Service reported that, УкрАгроКонсалт shares.

In particularly, the cattle livestock has decreased by 3.7%, to 2 180.5 thsd heads, pigs livestock — by 3.1%, to 7 140.9 thsd heads, sheep and goats — by 3.8%, to 1 441.8 thsd heads.

Poultry stock went down by 4.4%, to 190 208.8 thsd heads.

Compared to February 1, 2016 (3 838.5 thsd heads) the animal livestock has increased by 156.3 thsd heads (or by 4.07%).
