Ukraine and Kuwait are equally interested in mutually beneficial cooperation
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Ukraine HE Dr. Rashid Al-Hammad Advani. «The potential for cooperation between our countries is huge. I think in the near future we will implement it», — Kutovyi stressed during the meeting.
Thus, the head of Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine briefed the Ambassador on the key indicators of agricultural development in Ukraine, informed about the interest of the Ukrainian side in establishing a regular supply of agricultural, food and other products to Kuwait and in extension of nomenclature of exports of Ukrainian agricultural products with higher added value.
«Today, Ukraine is a global leader in many positions. For sunflower — № 1 in the world, corn — № 3, for the wheat — № 6. We have the capacity, so we have to intensify our cooperation. We will use at maximum all opportunities to open new markets, work in certification and access of our products, including to your market. We intensified this work because we have good quality products, products that are competitive by the cost», — said the Minister.
