The number of cattle in Ukraine decreased by 2.8%
In Ukraine the number of cattle on 1 October 2016, compared to the same period last year decreased by 2.8%.

According to the Agency, on October 1, 2016 in comparison with October 1, 2015, that during the year, the number of cattle decreased by 2.8% - to 4 million 162,5 thousand heads, including cows whose number decreased by 3.7% - to 2 million 162,4 thousand heads.
In particular, in the Donetsk region the number of cattle has decreased the most — by 21.6%, a significant reduction in the number of cattle was recorded in the Luhansk region — by 19.5%, in Rovno region the number of cattle decreased by 10.1%.
At the same time, in the Zaporozhye region the number of cattle increased by 2.4%, in Zhytomyr region — by 2.7% and in Khmelnitskiy region — by 1.2%.
We add that the data are presented excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation, and can be updated.
