"Agrarian sector of Ukraine is developing incredibly quickly in recent years. At this is happening through the use of new technologies. I am very grateful to the organizers and participants, because the agricultural sector will evolve this way: automation, intensification, the increasing absence of people in the production process, artificial intelligence and the like", — said Olga Trofimtseva. 

The Deputy Minister added that the hackathon is a remarkable event which brings together young and creative people from all over Ukraine. They spent two days in teams to develop and present their projects, which can be potentially implemented in various spheres of agrarian sector.

This year hackathon was attended by 18 teams. The first place, by the decision of the jury, was awarded to the team “Water Cloud”, for the project of obtaining water from air with predictable performance. And the second place was awarded to "Аllfields.gov.ia", for their project — public information on the actual use of agricultural land.

"The Ministry of agrarian policy and me personally congratulate the winners of the hackathon and hope that their development, as well as projects that were presented by other teams, will find interested users not only among Ukrainian agricultural companies, but also among state authorities",— summed up Olga Trofimtseva.
