Russian Ministry of Agriculture to arrange proposals regarding food import from Turkey restriction
On November, 26th Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedyev instructed relevant ministries to prepare proposals regarding potential food import from Turkey restrictions.
Within 10 months of the current year Russia’s import of agricultural products and food from Turkey totaled $1.035 bln, what is 21.2% less compared to the same period of 2014. Value of food supplies from Russia to Turkey reached $1.313 bln. More than a half of Russian export to this country is grain (56.1%).
