Questions оf export of dairy products is still open
One of the problems of domestic players on the dairy market is looking for the new markets after the Russian embargo.
"Of course, the Russian market was attractive to us, but the situation has opened other markets. In the future, it will be the EU markets, because the EU does not have global remarks to the Ukrainian milk"- said the head of the export council Bogdan Shapoval.
However, it should be marked that every new market dictates its own requirements for product quality. But judging from the experience of Ukrainian processors, who have invested in quality of production and have implemented appropriate quality standards, Ukrainian products have its place in the foreign market.
Compared to 2013, less cheese was exported in 2014. Sales of serum decreased insignificantly. However, export of cheese products increased almost twice, by 2.5 times - fat-free dry sera, by 3.7 times - oil, export of casein increased by 73%. It is reported by the analytical department of Dykun.
Therefore, experts of dairy business plan to come together and speak during the sections for dairy processing factories "Challenges and Strategies of dairy business in 2015" in the frameworks of the VIII International Dairy Congress, where they will discuss several important issues: plans and prospects of dairy products in Ukraine and abroad, prevention of export risk of dairy products, export markets in 2015, the prospects of entering new markets for dairy products.
