Poultry, eggs, grains and mixed fodder are the key products of Ukrainian agricultural exports to the EU
In the nearest future poultry, eggs, grains, mixed fodder and straw briquettes as alternative fuel, may become the key products of Ukrainian exports, supplied on the EU market within frames of establishing of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU, declared Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on June 27.
According to him, other agricultural products are being certified to date.
While speaking about the possible structure of exports to the EU, the Minister stressed that in fact it has already been formed, as in April 2014 the EU unilaterally opened its customs border for Ukrainian exports. Some part of quotas from the EU will be filled, some part — not. At the same time, the Minister noted that several agricultural enterprises tried to enter the EU market even since 2005.
