Parliament to ratify the Association Agreement of Ukraine and the EU in September – P.Poroshenko
In the middle of September 2014 Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine, will introduce the Association Agreement of Ukraine and the European Union to the Parliament for ratification, informed the Head of State on August 23.
According to him, in mid-September the President of Ukraine will introduce the Association Agreement to the Verkhovna Rada for ratification, and by the end of September Ukraine will give the ratification instruments to the EU Council. All the actions on the Association ratification are coordinated.
P.Poroshenko added that to date there are provided negotiations on a free trade zone. It does not concern the political part of the Association Agreement. As well as the content part of the agreement on free trade zone, Ukraine and the EU act in a coordinated manner.
