Odesa region agrarians will get a full compensation for young cattle keep
Odesa region peasants take active part in the State Support Programme of young cattle keep. As on December 1st 2012, it has been allocated 12.2 million UAH. Such direct state support was given to peasant for the first time last year. It has given first results: the number of cattle has increased by 1.8% last year in Ukraine.
According to the order of the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine the necessary sums of money have been sent to the local Exchequer Chamber on time. The peasants have received compensation for October and November.
But according to the latest update there is a 4.6 million UAH debt at the Exchequer Chamber due to the Odesa Oblast State Administration check. This money will be paid after the adoption of some regulatory acts that regulate this question. It should be said that almost 340 thousand of peasants have received 305 million UAH of compensations for 509 thousand heads of young cattle in 2012.
It is provided 650 million UAH in the State Budget for animal industry programmes in 2013, in particular such compensations.
