The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine estimated the volume of grain exports from the country in 2015/2016 MY at the level of 36.83 mln tonnes, declared Oleksiy Pavlenko, Head of the Ministry, on August 25.

In particular, Ukraine will export 15.9 mln tonnes of wheat, 16.9 mln tonnes of corn, 3.7 mln tonnes of barley, and nearly 0.3 mln tonnes of other grains.

The Ministry estimated the volume of grain production in the current season at 60.5 mln tonnes, including 25.8 mln tonnes of wheat, 24.5 mln tonnes of corn, 8.2 mln tonnes of barley, 0.355 mln tonnes of rye, and 0.135 mln tonnes of buckwheat.

In the current season, the volume of domestic consumption of grain crops will reach 24.04 mln tonnes, the ending stocks - 10.25 mln tonnes.
