Grain storage capacity is more than sufficient — State Inspection of Agriculture
To date there are 745 certified granaries in Ukraine, with the general storage capacity of 32 mln tonnes, declared Yuri Marchuk, First Deputy Chairman of the State Inspection of Agriculture of Ukraine (Gosselkhozinspektsia).
According to him, loading of the certified grain storages totals nearly 50%.
Y.Marchuk also noted that large-scale agricultural enterprises often launch new elevators, allowing to expand the storage capacity in the country.
