Future Veterinarians Have Successfully Passed the Test on Using UNIFORM-Agri Software
On December, 25, graduate students of Sumy National Agrarian University successfully passed the test in the course “Information technologies in veterinary medicine”. The focus of the course was on dairy management software UNIFORM-Agri. Along with the note “passed” in their credit books, 22 future veterinarians received special certificates from the Association of Dairy Producers of Ukraine (ADP) that notify their expertise in operating the program.
Among the experts who evaluated the students’ knowledge and skills there was Pavlo Palamarchuck, a consultant from ADP Technical Department.
Tetiana Semenova, a student of Veterinary Medicine Department at Sumy National Agriculture University:
«UNIFORM-Agri is not just software, but a full set of necessary records and reports as well as management solutions. For a vet it is critical to see the complete history of the animals’ health and treatments. It helps make a decision immediately».
Sergii Melnikov, a student of Veterinary Medicine Department at Sumy National Agriculture University:
«The program is a good instrument in analyzing and making decisions on how to improve animals' health status and production indicators. Recording veterinary drugs and semen doses in store is also very important in planning expenditures. It’s a great opportunity for students to study the software which is widely used on dairy farms».
