Forecast of grain exports in 2012/13 MY remains at the last season level — APK-Inform
In the updated supply and demand balances of grains and leguminous crops in Ukraine in 2012/13 MY, analysts of APK-Inform Agency forecast the exports of grains from the country at the level of 23.3 mln tonnes, a decrease of 0.6% only compared to the index in 2011/12 MY (23.4 mln tonnes).
According to estimations of the analysts, maize will form the basis of grain exports from Ukraine in the current season — 15.5 mln tonnes. Wheat will become the second largest export grain — 5 mln tonnes. And barley will close the TOP-3 of the grain export leaders −2.5 mln tonnes.
