Farmers have bought more than 10.5 thousand breeding cows due to the support of the Government

 

Every farmer from any region of Ukraine can receive state compensations for purchased breeding cows. Thus, within this program it was purchased more than 10.5 thousand heads of breeding cattle last year. It was allocated more than 62 million UAH. It was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food.

State provides support livestock programmes. In particular, partial compensation for purchased breeding cows. To receive these funds, a farmer has to buy breeding heifers at breeding plants and reproducers.
Last year the budget provided almost 85 million UAH under this program. More than 62 million UAH were paid to all applicants who fulfilled the conditions of the program. Unfortunately, there were fewer applications from farmers than allocated funds.
In particular, last year 89 farmers from different regions of Ukraine have bought more than 10.5 thousand breeding cows.
