Milk production and dairy processing systems in Ukraine tend to become very popular branches in which foreigners are interested. Recently Dutch farmers visited leading Ukrainian farms and enterprises. It was a special study tour organized by Ukrainian agricultural tour operator RealUkraine. Such tours are organized to show the whole world agricultural potential of Ukraine, possibilities for investments and expand the boundaries of partnership.

Except visiting farms and plants, program of tour included meeting with the agricultural counselor of the Netherlands in Ukraine. He presented a perfect speech about Ukraine and its agricultural opportunities. Also the guests visited the newest dairy processing plant in Ukraine — Bilotserkivskiy Dairy Plant. It was built only in 2008 and now it produces more than 250 tons of raw milk per day. This plant is the only supplier of milk mixtures for McDonald’s in Ukraine. Bilotserkivskiy Dairy Processing Plant is the 4^th manufacturer of dairy products in Ukraine. It produces several types of production, but they plan to increase the assortment and to become the leader in region. Up-to-date this dairy plant has equipment and works according to European standards.

Farmers from the Netherlands were impressed by visiting the dairy plant and leading farms-suppliers of raw milk. They admitted that Ukraine is a big country with great agricultural potential and it must become the major dairy producer in Eastern Europe.
