Exports of agricultural products amounted to $6 billion
For 4 months of this year there have been exported agricultural products for $6.03 billion, 32% more than the same period in 2016.
The growth of exports was mainly due to the export of products of plant origin. In particular, such products were supplied for $3 billion, $2.4 billion more than in January-April of last year. Including export of cereal crops for $2.3 billion.
In the context of other agricultural groups of goods there were supplied to foreign markets:
— live animals and animal products — $304.4 million (154,1% to January-April 2016);
— fat and butter — for $1.7 billion (134.6% to January-April 2016);
— finished food products — for $0.99 billion (147.2% compared to January-April 2016).
Regarding imports, in January-April 2017 Ukraine imported agricultural products worth $1.4 billion, which is 4% less than in the first four months of last year. In the context of groups of goods there were imported.
