Chinese investors plan to open livestock production park in Primorye Territory

 

Chinese agricultural corporations Tai Yuan and Hua-Fen plan to open a livestock and agricultural production park in the Primorye Territory (Russia). The intention was negotiated at a meeting of Primorye Vice-Governor Sergey Nekhayev and Vice Governor of Jilin Province Sui Zhongchen.

Tai Yuan is already implementing an investment project in Shkotovsky District of Primorsky Krai. It opened a subsidiary there in 2013. The company specializes in livestock and pigs breeding, its total population exceeds 700 thousand heads. Dairy farms are situated in the North of China. Total area of agricultural lands in China — 52 thousand ha. The company also has its own compound feed plant with annual capacity 600 thousand tons.
