Butter production has been increased by 15.2% in Ukraine

 

In November food products production has been increased by 2.5% against last year. Besides, in January-November 2012 butter production has been increased by 15.2%, sunflower oil by 18.1%, cultured milk product by 3.4%. This was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

«Today we observe persistent production increase by food industry enterprises. In particular, in January-November the production of sunflower oil has increased by 18.1%, butter by 15.2%, pasteurized milk by 6.4%, cottage and lactic cheese by 3.6%, cultured milk product by 3.4%», Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
According to him, last month food industry enterprises production is 2.5% more against last year. In general, food products, drinks and tobacco products production index for January-November 2012 is 101.1% against last year. The Minister has also informed the situation with sugar production.
«As on November 17, Ukrainian agrarians have produced 2054 thousand tonnes of sugar. I would like to emphasize that such volumes of production provide fully internal market demand. Furthermore, sugar export potential in 2012/2013 marketing year is 450 thousand tonnes», Mykola Prysyazhnyuk added.
