As of November 23, 2012, Ukraine harvested grains and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 14.35 mln ha, or 97% of the forecast. The produced volumes totaled 45.01 mln tonnes of grains with the average yield of 31.3 c/ha.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on the same date in 2011 agrarians produced 55.79 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 15.02 mln ha with the yield of 37.1 c/ha.

As of the reporting date in 2012, agrarians harvested maize throughout 4.04 mln ha (92%), and already produced 18.64 mln tonnes of the grain, the yield — 46.1 c/ha.

Also, agrarians harvested 2.33 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout the areas of 1.38 mln ha (97%) with the yield of 16.8 c/ha.

As of the reporting date, agrarians completed the planting campaign of winter crops for the harvest-2013. The general planted areas totaled 8.06 mln ha.
