In Ukraine, as of January 1, there are 2 544.9 thousand head of cows, which is 0.4% less than at the same date last year. It is reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The largest quantity of cows is concentrated in Vinnytsia region — 174.6 thousand heads. The largest industrial livestock is held on farms in Poltava region — 68,9 thousand heads, which is 0.9% more than compared to the January 1 2013.
