Almost 27 tons of low-quality meat products were attached
In Ukraine 27 tons of low-quality products that could get on the consumers’ table were attached last week from the circulation. To prevent this, the State Veterinary Service workers together with the Sate Veterinary Police officers have checked 280 enterprises that produce animal products.
In general, in Ukraine measures to ensure a stable epizootic situation and food security are taken. To achieve these objectives mobile groups of the State Veterinary Service workers and the Sate Veterinary Police officers work in the regions of Ukraine.
Over the last week, these mobile groups checked 280 enterprises that are involved in animal productions turnover. To provide control of the animal products movement by the roads of Ukraine the Sate Veterinary Police officers together with traffic police workers have checked 63 vehicles during livestock production transportation.
In general, 162 violations were recorded and 19.9 thousand UAH of fines were put into the State Budget. The production at 7 units was suspended. It was limited the circulation of 27 tons of production because its origin was not confirmed by relevant documents.
It should be mentioned that earlier Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has said that he personally controls the implementation of the food quality measures, especially meat.
