So, the export of live animals increased almost by 60% (by 4625 tons), exports of meat and offal increased by 46%.

Only pork exports for 6 months in 2017 exceeded the corresponding figures for 12 months of 2016 - 3.567 tons in 2017 against 3161 tons in 2016. According to the State fiscal service by the results of the export for the period up to 01.07.2017 compared to 12 months last year pork exports only to Georgia increased by 47% (2565 thousand dollars in 2016 – 4812 thousand dollars in 2017).

Also, there is an increase in exports of dairy products – by 22% (by 11727 tons) and bird eggs (by 5681 tons), export of honey – by 95% (by 14466 tons), fats and butter of animal origin – by 140%. In this context one should pay attention to the export of cattle fat – an increase of 3484% compared to the same period in 2016.

For 2016-2017 the export was opened and restored to the EU (dairy products), China (dairy products, beef), Israel (table eggs, pet food), United Arab Emirates (poultry meat and products thereof, beef, sheep meat and products thereof), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (poultry meat and products thereof), Egypt (beef), Hong Kong (table egg), Montenegro (poultry, honey), Serbia (poultry), Bosnia and Herzegovina (poultry), Lebanon and Tunisia (poultry meat and products thereof).
