41.8 thousand heads of breeding cattle were imported in Russia in 2015
According to the RF Ministry of Agriculture information, the breeding base of dairy and meat cattle in Russia is represented by 1,550 breeding herds. In 2015 the proportion of brood cows in total breeding stock population reached 13.2%.
In 2015 Russia imported 41.8 thousand heads of breeding cattle and 330 thousand doses of seed bull semen, according to RF Federal Customs Service.
