Almost 340 thousand farmers have received 305 million UAH of the state dotations for 509 thousand young cattle heads keep in 2012. Moreover, the State has allocated 300 million UAH to support different branches of animal industry. This was announced by Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, the Minister of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

«The results of the previous year work are surely successful. The facts of livesock increase by 2.9% or 83.1 thousand heads speak for themselves. This positive dynamic proves the effectiveness of the state policy aimed at animal industry renewal both in the agricultural enterprises and farm cooperatives», Mykola Prysyazhnyuk mentioned.

The Minister has informed that almost 340 thousand farmers have received 305 million UAH of the state dotations for 509 thousand young cattle heads keep in 2012. He has pointed out that such support had been introduced for the first time last year.

Mykola Prysyazhnyuk has mentioned the state support of the agricultural enterprises where livestock increase is also observed.

The Minister has said that 650 million UAH of animal industry support is provided by the State Budget in 2013, he has also emphasized that these programmes will be held and new ones are planned to be introduced.
