1st of June – World Milk Day
The World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in 2001. A processor from Omsk Region supports the campaign dedicated to the World Milk Day and Children’s Day: trolley buses with children’s pictures drive in the town. Last year the MilkOm’s initiative was noted in UN.
In 2016 the party took place on May 29. The campaign “paint the trolley bus” was held for the third time and was supported by the TM Luzhaykino, dairy pant MilkOm and Transportation and Culture Departments of the region’s Administration.
MilkOm Chairman of Board of Directors Sergey Kalinin considers it to be a successful tradition to unite the two holidays as far as milk is one of the most useful beverage for children. The company promotes healthy lifestyle in the region and helps children use this knowledge in life.
