13 enterprises suspended their work due to the poor food production
The State provides inspections of the enterprises that produce animal production. The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service and Ukrainian Veterinary Police workers inspected 374 enterprises last week. Together with the Traffic Police they checked 107 vehicles during livestock production transportation. According to Serhii Oksyuta, the Head of Veterinary Internal Affairs of Ukraine it was registered 238 violations and more than 12 tonnes of animal products of poor quality were attached.
In regions it is provided measures to ensure stable epizootic situation and food security. To achieve these objectives in the regions of Ukraine there are mobile teams of the State Veterinary Service workers and veterinary officers.
As a result, production at 13 enterprises was suspended and 12277 kg of animal products of poor quality were attached last week.
For example, in Konstantinovka, a village in Donetsk region, it was found a local resident’s enterprise that produced meat and fish and it wasn’t registered.
Today, there is a stable, prosperous epizootic situation in Ukraine. The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine provides control of dangerous animal infectious diseases, especially common to animals and humans.
